Kiosk for Used Needles? Yeah, NYC’s Got That
I found this weird little path in Washington Heights that goes under the George Washington Bridge, its ramps and the West Side Highway. It’s a good place to kill somebody or to be killed yourself. At the end when it met the street, I noticed something odd.
It turned out to be a kiosk where heroin users and other people who are fans of sticking themselves with needles can deposit their used, disease-ridden syringes.
Yeah, this belongs on a city street.
Sigh. I hate this city.
